Build Chest Muscles In The Shortest Possible Time
The average Joe who pumps some iron has no chest at all, and, embarrassingly, many guys who otherwise have big, decent physiques.
I don’t want to overcomplicate this article, that would defeat the purpose. Instead, I want to simply point out a very simple thing you can do to build chest muscles which are far and a way better than anything you’ve previously achieved.
That very simple thing, is the bench press – but, done how it’s supposed to be.
The bench press, although a compound movement involving the deltoids and triceps and to a lesser extent other muscles, is mostly an exercise for the chest. However, bodybuilders have gotten into the habit of bench pressing far too high up, with the arms flared right out – which puts most of the emphasis on the deltoids.
In order to hit the chest, you need to bench more like a power lifter, with the bar lower, and the arms tucked closer to the sides. You never, ever see a power lifter with a flat chest, because the technique they use emphasises maximal chest involvement.
And, don’t take my word for it – Charles Glass said it, ‘nuff said.
