Phoenix From The Ashes

Since milk joined The Departed, my ‘anything goes’ diet plan has pretty much collapsed. For the last few days, I’ve tried, but failed miserably to even come close to my calorie and protein quota. It has been total chaos.

If there is one thing I’m terrible at – and always have been – it’s being organised.

It seems as if I live every aspect in my life in total chaos, ‘winging it’ from day-to-day. I realise now, that when it comes to bodybuilding, there is absolutely no room for last-minute improvisation as a first plan of attack.

I’ve got to get my sh*t sorted; for the sake of my entire life, and bodybuilding.

I’ve therefore decided, I’m taking the week off bodybuilding to regroup. No training, and, no attempts to hit my dietary quota. I’m not going to rush this as I have much to consider, and this would once again defeat the object. No, I’m going to sit down, and carefully plan a proper diet I know I can follow, and I’m going to get organised. It’s long overdue.

During the last month or so, I’ve made little to no progress. Yet, I honestly believe I’m yet to see my best results. I’m under no illusions whatsoever that, my haphazard lifestyle, and my approach to my diet is largely to blame. And, I refuse to let myself down any longer – in bodybuilding and in other aspects of my life.

So, one week off to sort my life out into some kind of order and routine. And one week off to carefully sort the most important aspect for achieving maximum success in my bodybuilding efforts out – Sounds like no-brainer, to me.

And you know what? I honestly believe it’ll be the best thing I’ll ever do.

See you next Monday.
