I’m Back

Just finished my first workout after my first week off - and it felt strange. I felt very out of it, tired and weak. But then, that’s no suprise.

For one, today I worked out far later than I normally like to, 4PM ’til 5PM, when I normally work out in the morning. Also, during my week off, for one reason or another I’ve not been continuing my diet as I intended - not even close, really - and I missed out on a ton of sleep. Adding to that I’ve been a bit fedup, my overall energy levels and motivation have been dire. I’m hoping to correct that, now.

Despite this, things didn’t go so badly today, still. I’ve bettered a few lifts, and substituted some exercises for others, and added overhead tricep extentions (with tricep bar) with a view to keeping things fresh for this month, and to continue growth. I also have added 1 extra rep to each set of each exercise, which would’ve been a killer on its own, nevermind having just come back after the lax week I’ve had. I must be crazy.
